TNPSC Combined Engineering Services Exam notification 2017 has been released and is open for registration.

Interested & eligible candidates may apply online for the Engineering job in tamilnadu govt on or before due date.

You may be aware that recently tnpsc released a single notification for both group 4 & vao exam. If you’ve completed engineering degree programme in the required field then you can apply online.

Here are some of most important dates & details you need to know about the combined engineering service exam 2018.

  • Assistant Director of Industrial Safety & Health ( Formerly Assistant Inspector of Factories ) – 14 posts
  • Junior Electrical Inspector – 3 vacancies
  • Assistant Engineer ( Agricultural Engineering ) – 117 posts
  • Assistant Engineer ( Fisheries Engg services ) – 13
  • Total : 147 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria :

Since it’s engineering grade job in the tn govt, you may need to go through the eligibility section carefully,

Age Limit :

No max age limit for SC / ST / BC / MBC / BCM  & max 30 years for all others.

Education Qualification:

It is very important that the you completely met the education qualifications,

For Assistant Director of Industrial Safety & Health Job – You should have completed Mechanical or Production or Industrial or Electrical or Chemical Engineering or Textile Technology.

For Junior Electrical Inspector Job – You should have electrical engineering degree, do remember that equal preference shall be given to those who’ve undergone apprenticeship training under govt of india scheme or state govt for one year.

For Assistant Engineer in Agricultural Engineering Job – You should have completed any of this,

  • i) BE Agriculture or BTech agri or BSc Agri engineering degree
  • ii) BE Mechanical, BE Civil , BE Production Engineering, BE Industrial Engineering

Only if TNPSC doesn’t receive enough applicants from the i) degree then the candidates / applications from ii) will be considered.

For Assistant Engineer in Fisheries Dept job – You should have Civil Engineering degree from university approved by UGC or a pass in A & B ( AMIE ) in civil engg .
